Shut down the HS Tarm for the last time. Now the fun begins by taking it apart and installing Keystoker K6. :D

I shut down about 3 weeks ago because I was away for work the better part of two weeks. Haven't fired back up because of the warm weather but I hate to do the season ending cleanout when we haven't even hit April yet.

I know if I clean it out for the season tonight we will hit 15* next week and I'll be hatin' the sound of the furnace kicking on.

I have been down for a week or so and this morning the thermometer read 28 deg outside and 63 deg inside. It simply was one of those days when I allowed the "expensive option"to get some exercise and take the chill off.The Cawley woodstove will handle the load after that. What I really mind is the fact that all of my small orchard is in full or partial bud and took the freezing temperature. There might not be any apple pie to go with Thanksgiving dinner this year. That would be regrettable for certain.Time will tell . On rare occasions, I do see apples in the supermarket. Don't write off Thanksgiving yet! - :D ;) :D
