My stove finally went out yesterday. This morning it's in the 30's. First time in two weeks. Extended forecast says 40s and 50's during the day and 30's-20's at night.

Stove will be cleaned out and fired back up. I don't have enough oil in the tank for a week of these temps.

I am done also I think. 85+ F forecast for tomorrow.

SKIRT! Stokers are not done yet. Been there done that but Keystoker 90 has changed everything.

I just had to restart the Lil' Heater a few minutes ago.

The temps are looking to be around the mid 50's for the rest of the week plus damp rainy weather.

I've been burning pea and have been on 24+ shaking schedules for the past few weeks. This paat Monday when it was 84° I was in shut-down mode and had stopped putting coal in it the Friday before. But, that night it was in the 30s so I kept it going. I figure it'll be another few weeks before the warmth sets in for good.

I shut mine down on the 15th, but just refired 2 hours ago, gonna get wet and nasty in Northern NY for the next few days, I have extra coal so fire her back up and get toasty...

Snowing right now in Whippleville, NY. 34*. We have had 2 weeks of nasty weather. The 10 day forcast looks pomissing. The night time temps are even forcast to be mild. My plan right now is to let the fire burn out the fisrt of next week and then clean the stove pipes and stainless chimney right away.

I relit the Herald yesterday. It had been out and cleaned with the glenwood in the kitchen but furnace was coming on nights and the next few days are high 40s and rainy so fired it up and burning stove coal in it actually. It's rounded chunks like eggs though so it "fits" together well and seems to burn just as long as nut was. I finished my 5 tons of bulk blaschak nut off and bought a few bags locally. The size of the blaschack nut in the bags was really small? It looked more like pea coal to me?
