Speed of Forum

PostBy: Richard S. On: Thu Mar 29, 2012 11:56 am

Freetown Fred seems to be having some speed issues so I want to make sure it's issue on his end, for me this is one of the fastest sites I view on average. How is the speeds for everyone else on average?

mine is slow and sometimes the internet explorer stops and I need to restart it. I need to do some clean up on my computer.

Faster than average...when it works. Frequently I get pages that hang and have to be refreshed. Seems like it only has issues on certain days.

With me the speed changes on a daily basis. One minute it's nice & fast ... then the next I'm getting a white screen for 5 minutes .... then I close / restart browser & it's good. Until the next time ...

I'd put money on it that it's my crap computer & even crappier internet speed.

It typically loads pretty fast 99% of the time, I know if it doesn't load within the first 5-15 seconds...something is up.

Variable, but most of that is probably my shitty ISP, because most sites I visit are variable.

Same speed as other websites. I know if its slow, other websites are usualy slow too, so that pushes the issue back to my ISP.

Most of the time it's plenty fast. When using IE I would get a white page when I clicked on a topic and it would say waiting for nepacrossroads at the bottom. I then switched to Chrome hoping that would take care of it but it still does it occasionally.

I find that this forum is right on par with other forums and websites.
Any time I may have any speed issue I chalk it up to my internet connection.
