I famous for losing my sunglasses that are on my hat. .. or looking for the lost pencil that is in my hat. I blame the hat.

In my case it generally works out that someone else (my better half) ultimately finds it in the only place I didn't think of looking at, and after I've exhausted and frustrated myself looking for it everywhere else.
