Without christianity, you have a social liberal.
Without social conservatism, you have the complete loss of traditional social values.
What "type" of conservative are you if you if you are not wholly one type or another? Can you be half of something?
I disagree with that statement. Just because you put different views in different boxes doesn't make one better or more conservative then the other. I could write a page on this subject, but I will not. Suffice to say I am an Economic conservative/Libertarian and I will stack my morals up with anyone. Judging how people that go to church act, I will come out in the upper percentile.
What in the Constitution gives you the right to pass laws restricting how other people live their lives because of your Christianity/Social conservatism? FREEDOM to worship or not is guaranteed. Nothing else. Who you live with is not restricted, and many other things. It is convenient to use the Constitution to unseat the present power, then turn around and throw it out to pass your own restrictive laws. As i said, Sharia has a Christian face also.
