Does someone want to decipher this?

Found this on the front page of the Sunday Herald. Sussex counties rag newspaper that is only good for starting coal fires. My wife and I had a good chuckle. Figured you guys would too. And, who knows, maybe one of you will know what the hell it actually means.

Perhaps they would like it because the fields wouldn't be so muddy but fear it because once planted it needs water.

AHh, you city folk don't understand.

Dry in April make it good for preparing the fields. :)

However, a too dry April could be a sign of a dry summer and drought. :x

Richard and Steam-Up clearly have the knowledge to correctly answer this Headline interpretation. It AIN"T rocket science, dudes!

Woodstock was a mud hole and that along with no suitable dry roads made for a DAMNED WET time in Saugerties!
;) Talk about sloppy seconds...how about being # 43 for the current day? No showers, no toilets.....not my idea of a party. The Military wasn't even that bad.

Today's heavy rain would NOT be a good farming day, nor would the next several, however if it had been dry you guys could go roll a big fattie, and puff until you couldn't breathe anymore.....perhaps too many here have done that....

PT Barman was absolutely right! One born every minute.......I'm not sure who said: You can't engineer out STUPID! He or she was definitely on the right path; both eyes open, both ears perked up to hear; without a GD cell phone texting nothings all day....could actually concentrate on one task for more than 30 seconds and did NOT have 55 new educational codes attached to their folders in school.....24 medications to make them 'NORMAL'. One guy I met this weekend had a bumper sticker for a group he leads: " Why Not Go Hunting With Your Kids, Instead Of Going Hunting For Them. It is a cool group, and weapons are involved (unarmed at this stage) and they investigate habitat, feeding areas, trails, beaver dams, ospey nesting habits...bear dens........only educational, and the 'shooting is done with 'your camera'. They are loving it...I think they are on to something. It sure can be done everywhere....millions of moms and dads who would love to learn more and teach others, too. I do know that Freetown Fred still rides Silver through the dark of night at high speeds, but that has something to do with the Mountain Range where he lives. BrokeBack-Ridge or something like that. :mad3: :box: :eek2: :alone:
