Obama vs. Romney, how the Electoral votes are stacking up

Here's a link to Rasmussen's electoral college breakdown. Rasmussen is the pollster that I trust the most to be spot on accurate. Despite showing Romney with the overall vote lead, Rasmussen has Obama closing in upon a lock on victory. He is also showing the swing states beginning to turn to Obama.

This leads to the question of the day. If the Republicans can't defeat the likes of President Obama, who can they defeat for the Presidency going forward?

go ahead let obama win give him 4 more after that u wont have a demo in office for 100 years...when we run out of credit/money just think of the riots we will have with half or more of the country on the dole...

Hey Fred, if you look into those #s of your savior you & I along with a few million other seniors are just about part of that group if you collect SS & it contains all the disabled vets that are in too bad a shape to do any type of work. What he doesn't include are the wealthy non tax payers, funny how that works but then again I hope you get to deduct your horses.

It somehwhat reminds me of April 2008 when during a speech in rural PA Obama said this condesending bit of insulting blather to the fine folk of that state:

Dream on cupcake. That's not what he said, he called them "victims". Then he said he could have worded it better; unlike President Armegeddon who never admits any mistake. ( As the entire muslim world riots). Then he explained succintly that Commubama has 47% of the people that pay no taxes locked up, because they can't relate to any tax cuts for those that are productive. He has 47% of sensible, fed up Americans on his side. He said he needs to garner the votes of the undecided, which includes democrats that voted for him, but who have the common sense to realize the damage he's doing to this country.

Don't mention the $716,000,000,000.00 that Obama robbed from medicare to pay for his joke Obamacare; that already has doctors and hospitals running away from the medical profession.

I've never seen anybody so bitter against "the wealthy", and your arguement is getting colder all the time. You have such hatred for the people that create jobs and pay the vast majority of taxes; when no "rich" person ever affected your life in any tangible way whatsoever. However, the other 47% who have no honor,skills, pride, or patriotism, continue to depend on a an increasingly socialist nanny state.

Dann, just how do you think you are entitled to say what has or has not affected my life in any tangible way? You don't know anything but your perceived way that I have lived my life, I know I can't change that but I would however like you to speak of things you know as fact. For some reason you get enjoyment out of making statements out of the blue & then backing off, if you can't provide proof then I would appreciate your not throwing innuendos out there IMO it's not a mature thing to do.

WHAT??? How is the middle class hauling the rich around? I've lived in MA long enough to know the middle class is TAXED TO DEATH to pay for the democrat votes of those who have ZERO desire to take care of themselves, pull their own weight, & contribute something USEFUL to society. We haul THEM around, via our tax dollars that the dems hand out at the drop of a hat. It's not their money - what do they care? I don't want him to give a damn about me. I want him to stop destroying the value of the dollar by wasting money on idiot schemes that don't work. I want him to develop energy in this country so we no longer have to get involved with Arab countries. I want him to regulate the banks with competent people who understand the business instead of the cozy relationship they have with Obama. I want him to get rid of all the useless departments of government. We need a manager who knows how to run things and will stop the trend to socialism.
