Per this projection of State by State Electoral votes it looks like President Obama is a shoe-in to be re-elected. Remember, the popular vote is meaningless (just ask Al Gore). Comments?
The campaign has not really started yet. I can remember when Clinton was in third place.
Romney has just survived the Republican bashing; when the Obama bashing starts it could turn around dramatically. It will turn on just how hard Romney is able and willing to hit him.
Recall when I mentioned that all of the States where Romney is dominating in the Republican primaries will go heavily for President Obama. This map confirms it.
I just checked in again to the link I posted at the top of this thread, and President Obama still has more than enough electoral votes to win (regardless of the national popular vote trends or eventual 'overall' vote outcome). The Electoral tally currently stands at 281 Obama to 191 Romney, with only 270 required to win. The lesser number of large liberal states are dwarfing the paltry Electoral vote potential of the far greater number of small conservative states.
I just checked again, and Huff-Po has declared Obama to be the landslide winner. They have him garnering well over 300 electoral votes at present, with 270 needed to win. It appears that the swing states are lining up for Obama.
That's exactly what the left wants. They want us all to believe there's no hope. You'll see it on TV & in the paper that the dems have it all sewn up, and how the world loves him and anyone that doesn't want to vote him back in is just a crazy fool.
