I can't imagine mowing that spread, Rob - I couldn't afford the fuel! I'd still love to own that though. I'd probably keep the grass pretty short by tearing it up with the Polaris. :D
Smitty, it takes about 3.5 gallons of gasoline to mow my lawn.

Looks good from the porch...I have been enjoying the view and a "box" of Labatt Blue since noon.

Dogs are relaxing as well: Image

You must have a better mower than I've got. I go thru 1.5 gallons to mow mine ... although lots of trees, rocks, & water to maneuver around - adds a bit of time to the equation.

Hey RR, What is that Blue or Black 4 door rig in the background? Are you hauling Gang Mowers with it? Smitty, can you see Rob with cruise control on at 15 MPH doing the Back-40?! He'll probably make some sort of Ash Aeration device, too. I'll see the dust cloud 200 miles from Platt!

That is the inlaw's Cadillac. They were telling me about the flat tire they had...no big deal, except the vehicle doesn't come with a spare! It came with a $0.10 inflator, but that doesn't help much when the tire is debeaded. It was nothing a call to On-Star and a flatbed couldn't fix - except the dealer didn't have a tire in stock either. Two days and $500 later they were rolling again.

No. I heard it is on the new models, but it wasn't on theirs.

All that money and they can't even include a spare??? :wtf:

Add another gripe to the list of why I will NEVER buy another GM product built after '72, as long as I'm breathing .... Company I worked for paid $500 for 24.5" tractor trailer tires ..... 5x the rubber in those. Wow ... :no1:

I just got the electric starter fixed on my wife's PUSH mower...
Thats an oximoron, isn't it?
She was calling me outside everytime she wanted to mow, just so I could pull-start it for her.
Yesterday, I put 20ft of trimming line on her new Stihl Weed Wacker, in 2 hours, it was empty again  Time for some training on how NOT to bump the head down on the ground.... :mad3:

Nice tires Smitty! Ever put one of those on backwards

Yeah back when I got my first dealership job I put many a tire on the wrong way. Rush rush rush is the name of the game - I can't think that fast. The liquor won't let me! :woot:

Just finished a water pump in a '04 Silverado. Was good practice, because I'm sure mine will be needing one any day now. It's got over 50,000 miles! :o

Look how MASSIVE the pump is on the 5.3! Crazy. The thermostat & it's housing attach to it, as does the belt tensioner. Strange design. 6 bolts over 2 gaskets which each cover 2 ports - 4 in total. Also both heater hoses attach to the pump as well. Strange .... but an easy job thankfully.
