Thanks for this post Horace, a true hero that has a long road ahead but I can't help but believe everything will turn out OK with all the support.

Outstanding post Horace. The man covered his buddy's ass's. Truely what combat is about. A true hero indeed. There are many good souls out here, seems like they are not the money making stories, so often go unnoticed.

I find stories like this incredibly humbling. I checked the site this morning and as of last night people all over the world have donated nearly $150,000 to this man and his sacrifice.

Great post. As the article said, he is a true hero, not a made up one like sports stars or actors. I hope everything works out for him and his family. By what is being reported in the article, it will be a long road but I think he will be ok.
