I wonder if they tell them not to try driving home like that. GM sold more cars in China for a year or so than they sold here.

Reliability of Cadilac: average =110 problems per 100 vehicles. Range: 95 - 120 problems per 100 vehicles.

Average for industry: 75 problems per 100 vehicles.

Reliability of Toyota: average: 30 problems per 100 vehicles
Range: 20 - 40 problems per 100 vehicles.

Depreciation is horrible the ads on this are lies.

If it aint reliable it is junk.

Yep, I am lining up for these cars.

This is how the poor get poorer. You got learn to look past the shiny paint, marketing and pretty girls. Detroit knows we buy on style and marketing and that's how they build junk and get away with it. The Chinese ones are assembled in China and are different cars.

...guess I'd better 'rethink' that Caddie thing! WOW!!! I was over at NHIS last year when they had those hot rod caddies going around at 140+. Street cars, not special race prepped rigs! Tough on the Fruit of the Loom guys......
Nothing broke, smoked or crashed and THAT was one hell of a ride! Impressive! I'll never have one, but that was a once in a lifetime reality check!!! Now those 'new' drawers are the ones with the 'skid mark' already installed! STYLIN'.......
Camero's and a Vette, too. It's bike week next week and I can hear the "Rollin' Thunder" go by. Lots of those CanAm rigs this year.....Beemers and Gold Wings....Victorys.....Trimuphs, Dressers and rice rockets...luv that 13,000 rpm red line on the Susys, Yamahammers and Kawasackis Zx's.......back to work.....
Beautiful weekend ......get out and enjoy!!!! Do something for the wife and kids.....take time to say thanks for all you have.

:eek2:  :help:  :stretcher:

Impressive driving!

Where did that info come from? I just did a quick search & found JD Powers rated the Cadillac as more dependable than the Toyota Camry!

Freddy those links the first thing it said was "predicted reliablility" and the other rating was issued after the first few months of ownership.

I don't know anyone that can tell how good a car with 2 miles on it will last after two months. It is reports like this that allowed GM and chrysler to build stylish crap and get themselves introuble.

not trying to get in a huge argument but I can assure you there will be more 200K+ mile toyotas on the road over cadillac's. Now that is reliabilty ;)

That's for sure! If I had to bet on a car making it to 200,000 with only oil changes, it sure wouldn't be an American car....sad, but true. But, if you have the money to trade for a new one every 36,000 miles....wouldn't a Caddy be fun? *smile*

Ain't that the truth! My truck was the first vehicle EVER I bought solely upon looks. Now look at it. Still looks pretty, but I've already done 2 brake jobs, lower ball joints, electrical troubleshooting, repair of more squeaks/rattles than any of my 20 year old 200k mile vehicles, and all 4 corners of the suspension replaced with Bilsteins. It just turned 54k miles .....
