Well Dann as understand it China likes American cars, if I recall correctly Buicks in particular. Makes sense to build it where they are going to be purchased just as many of the foreign auto makers have done here?

Buick has been the number one selling import in China for years now.

Japan too. Buick is a status symbol there. They also love Snap-On Tools & Harleys - even though they cost 4x what we pay for them. :shock:

The ONLY reason foreign cars are assembled here is because there is an import tariff on cars, but not on all the parts to assemble a car.
