Coal Crafts HELP ?

Coal Crafts HELP ?

PostBy: slovak On: Sat Jun 16, 2012 10:16 am

Hi; My Bride is trying to find someone that can make a keepsake for her 50th school reunion. Well they came up with the idea of having a paperweight made from coal with an outline of the school and various dates etc. We have seen similar items, BUT the fellow who made them has retired. He was located in Plains Pa.
I have contacted the gift shop at the Scranton coal mine tour and the people from the Pioneer tunnel in Ashland, and they could not help us. A crafter from the Ashland area mentioned Len's Coal Craft, but I can't find an address or phone number. There are several possibilites in West Virginia, but I would like to stay local. Sooo, is anyone able to offer us any help ?

Contact Debbie Knoebel at Knoebels Amusement Park in Elysburg Pa. She operates the park gift shops and they have a shop in the mining museum. Maybe she can tell you where she gets her stuff.
