Dennis I don't know if you're calling him stupid but the bottle apparently have a really thin plastic and there is other complaints. I wondering if maybe there somehow got frozen and it deormed the bottom.

Maybe I live in a world of roses, but life must go on.
Did he not save $3.00
get a full bottle of water
saved the landfills half of a bottle
saved the manf. by using half the plastic
no water spilling out of the bottle

This bottle of water really confused him.
Just drink the water throw the bottle in the trash and learn how to use his i-phone

Yet another product cheaped-out on to the point of inferiority, under the guise of "going green". Nothing green about it. The bottle sucks because the company needed to save a nickel - same reason GM sucks. Shitty parts that won't make it 40k miles. Lighter, faster. cheaper ... company saves a buck at your expense. Quality has gone right down the shitter in EVERYTHING ... (except Coal Jack stoves made right here by forum member Jim D! :woot:)

Wife bought bottled water once, right around the time Poland Spring also cheaped-out on their plastic. I used to re-use the bottles by washing them in the dishwasher, & filling them up with my filtered & softened well water (just as good as any bottled). Now the damn things are so friggin flimsy they collapse & crush in the dishwasher. If you drop them full, they blow out! Useless crap. Dasani is the only water with normal plastic bottles (made by Coke Corp.), so I might buy a case just for the bottles. At least they were last fall .... who knows now ..... I'd better check.

Who the hell would buy water that you can't even set down without cranking the cap back on? What a joke ...

The real joke is on us, imagine 30 or so years ago someone trying to get you to invest your hard earned money in a new product, Bottled Water. You would most likely look at them, look at your sink faucet & then look at your door as your telling them your nuts & to get out. Now because they know how to market things to convince us that we can't live without some of us spend a lot of money on it. I recall that Congress has something like a $200k bottled water bill, our tax dollars at work.
I was wrong & misspoke, hey I'm old & the memory ain't always correct.
