Triple aquastat

I have a Honeywell L8024A triple aqua stat that stopped working. What triple aqua stat can I replace this with. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks Rusty

Honeywell's L7224U is the direct replacement for the L8124A. The L7224U is digital, and you will need the instructions to get it programmed. New old stock L8124A aquastats are often available on eBay if you like the traditional interface.

By the way, what went wrong with your existing aquastat?

Rob R I have an L8024A You said an L8124A Is this aqua stat still a replacement for an L8024A. My furnace keeps going out. When the water temp goes down, it doesn't run the stoker to keep water hot, only runs on timer, so it doesn't run enough to keep fire going. Thanks Rusty

I missed the different digit in the model number. Based on what I found online, the L8024A preceded the L8124A...you should be able to replace yours with a L8124A or L7224U.

I installed a Hydrostat Model 3150 manufactured by the Hydrolevel Company when I refurbished my EFM 520.
I am very pleased with its quality and operation. I liked the fact that I could mount it on the wall away from the boiler with a 20ft. extension from the thermowell. The digital readout can be plainly seen from a distance. Its operation has been flawless.

I've had excellent luck with the 3150 as well. Have been using them since 2008 when I first noticed the literature.
I also like the remote placement of the unit....AND with their well, it also has a low water cutoff for only $12.00+/-more. A NO-Brainer!
We use them on all hydronic units, oil, coal or wood.....

Pex Supply and Patriot Supply .....as well as many supply houses have them in stock...about $140.00 DO NOT forget to order the LWCO insert AND the extended remote cable.

I need to do a better job gathering my thoughts before I post. First I misread the model number in the original post, and then I forget to mention that I have a Hydrostat 3150 on my EFM. Good thing others are watching.

The only issue I had with the 3150 was lack of clearance between the aquastat well and the newly installed extended coil mount. That issue is probably unique to my boiler because it was retrofitted with the new coil mount. I didn't know they offered a remote mounting kit at the time, so I mounted the control on the boiler jacket and had to run a ground wire to the theromwell to make the LWCO function work properly.

Thanks for your help guy's. I bought a 3150. What do you set your setting's at. Do you turn off the low limit setting. I had mine set at 180 -10 high and 160- 10 low. It shuts off at 160, but till it gets cool enough to start again, it goes out. Thanks Rusty
