Do I or don't I ?

Debating whether to fire back up the Hyfire II in the garage.

It only got to 93* inside while the outside temp with the thermometer in the sun hit 126.

Tomorrow is supposed to be a bit warmer but then Friday we could have storms that drop the temps down about 6* from tomorrow's high.

I don't want to waste coal but I have to keep the shop warm for when I put on a Tyvek suit to paint these parts.

Any thoughts ????? :funny: :nana:

I'd fire it tonight...and let it run....The paint will be flash 'heat treated'! You will lose 30 lbs tomorrow if you wear the tyvek suit all day. I'd set up the IV drip tonight on yourself......gotta stay hydrated!
93 here also today....down to 89 right now.
The boiler is at 150 degrees burning about 35 lbs a day. Yes, I do use my radiant slab as a extra heat scrubbing device, if I need one.
Haven't needed it yet....but tonight at 70 degrees may change that. Yup, A/C is on....comfy 73 inside!

It gets tuff to work when it's that hot inside, and I don't think the neighbors will want you working at 5 am. The good thing is the heat wave is only a few days.
Try to bottle some heat up for next winter
I drove by your shop last saturday afternoon and didn't see anyone so I didn't stop in.

Dennis,

Last Saturday was family day. First went to watch the daughter run her first ever 5k at Worcester. Then spent the afternoon with the grandkids before finishing the day off with a game at the Reading Phillies.

With the summer weather, I usually only spend a few Saturday mornings at the shop.

WN, tried the IV drip last night but now my head hurts.........must have been the wrong brand medicine. I'll have to try another tonight. :shots:
