I wish there was a place that would cast the harder to find parts for these old stoves like when you can find replica parts for older cars. I think you could probably build the first gen Camaro from a catalog if you wanted, but of course those are two different markets.
I found the weak link in the No 6 when i got it completely disassembled last week, the lower most pan that the exhaust goes through when in base heater mode. It is cast thin and mine has some previous attempts for repair that I wasnt happy with and one of the 4 mounts in the corner was completely broken off. Emery doesnt have any, and I have Doug checking for me but he is not a fan of shipping larger items so I may be sol unless I find someone that is close and picks one up and ships it for me.
Good luck in your search William, it can be frustrating trying to find parts and pieces but it is also part of the fun in having a great stove restored to its glory !
