Gotta love computers! San Diego's fireworks FAIL - WOW!!

Yep - leave it to our wonderful modern electronics to frig up a fireworks display!

This was supposed to be a 17 minute display, choreographed to music - the largest in the country. Instead, the computer lit THE WHOLE THING OFF AT ONCE!!!!! :woot: :punk:

Instead of a 17 minute long show, spectators got 15 seconds!!

Why I love electronics ....

To err is human, to really foul things up, it takes a computer.

I don't know. Seems the people were happy with it. Maybe this article shouldn't of been published. What the public doesn't know about the failure they can't be pissed off.

Well that must of been one hell of a grand finale. :D They have been using computers for this for quite a while now, matter of fact I recall having a fireworks simulator on my c64 in the mid 80's that allowed you to do this.

You could never do this without computer, the only way I could think of doing it without one is having many people that knew music running a massive amount of switches.

Nope the computer is just doing what it was told to do. ;)

Failure is not an option.

It comes bundled with the software.
