Some Great Advice on Shingles

Some Great Advice on Shingles

PostBy: Richard S. On: Tue Jul 10, 2012 11:31 am

Looks like wee need to replace the roof, it's leaking in at least one spot. While researching I came across this fantastic piece of advice.:

http://www.rooftopservices.com/Blog/Lat ... -going-bad

A good sign that roof shingles are going bad is if the homeowner heads into the attic and can see the sun’s rays through the roof.

Really? LOL

Did you go in the attic yet and look for sunlight?

I prefer metal roofing to shingles, but either one works well if the job is done correctly.

I never much worried about wearing a hard hat when inspecting a roof for people but I made sure to wear my steel golf spikes to keep from slippin. :D
