In a sort of backwards way I do. I fear for this country should the chosen one lose by a small munber of votes. The minoritys simply won't accept that outcome. Have any of you noticed how divided this country is both politicaly and racialy. A close loss would put us very close to a civil war IMHO. Stock up on food and ammo. Oh yeah, and toilet paper. And Oh Yeah #2 he is not getting my VOTE no matter what.

I think everybody here knows my conservative viewpoints. :D

For most of my life I just tried to support myself and I knew all I had to do was go out and get a job. I've neglected a score of opportunities but I do the best I can.

After the last three years I'm just trying to get through each day; the very background of a safe and secure nation seems to be crumbling.

I just hope the political pendulum, that has swung so far to the left, will gather momentum and swing to the right again.

Good for you hophead; at least you have the decency to vote. A few guys here are saying they will not vote. I could never do that, and I also realize it's even more statisticly and realisticly futile than trying to take our country back.

I'd almost rather die in a civil war than have to endure the current ideological tyrant.

Have you ever thought about how hard it is for a convict who has been in Prison for decades to adapt to life after he gets out? There's no more prison system to regulate his every thought and action, therefore; he is confused, afraid and bewildered in a free state. He has to act and think for himself, there are no walls to protect him.
There have always been people like that in our Society. They can't or won't deal with the responsibilities of Freedom. It's too much work and it's frightening because there is risk involved. Some people are just made to to peasants.
The bad part is that the amount of people who want to be peasants on the King's Land is growing almost to large to fight against. They will gladly raise their arms to be shackled if someone else will tell them what to do and make them feel secure. It is a tragic fact of life.

I seriously doubt that ex-cons and peasants have it any easier under President Barack Obama, then under any past president. one thing IS for sure, all of you multi millionaires out there, will have even more money to keep under gov. romney, if he is appointed, bought in,, i mean,, elected president. think of all of the extra coal you "friends of Romney" will be able to buy.

I'm no friend of Romney, but it's got to be better than the guy who said utility costs must necessarily rise.

This country is not as divided as the main stream media wants us to think. Romney did better than expected when he spoke in front of the NAACP today. He got plenty of applauds and had many standing by the end of the speech, and that's according to NBC. He got a few boos while speaking about repealing Obamacare but they only lasted a short time and the crowd respectfully settled down in a very short time. Huffingtonpost's website had in big, bold red capital letters that he got booed and made it sound like they heckled him off the stage. The main stream media is the problem, they are the ones trying to divide the country, it makes for better news. Just look at the Travon Martin / George Zimmerman debacle. The media is trying to make it out to be a black/white thing. Zimmerman is a minority too! But that doesn't make good news either.

An even bigger joke was when the NAACP had Eric Holder, Americas top flop, speak in Houston against the voter ID laws. If you were a member of the press and wanted in, you had to have a valid press pass and a valid government photo ID. Is it just me?

I think I've figured out Obama's goal. The biggest change he wants to make is actually quite small, just two letters; he wants to change one of our most cherished national holidays. If he had his way he would take the 'In' out of 'Independence Day'.....and move it to the first of the month.

There, I vented and feel a little better, thanks!

Your attitude kind of reminds me of syrup of ipecac. Seems like you have the peasant-like resentment of the rich syndrome real bad yourself. Maybe you're so gullible you have bought in to the class warfare tactic.

If you inherited a million dollars, who would you want to manage it, Obama or Romney?

Notice Obama always says the "rich" this, the "rich" that. Like it's a four letter dirty word. He won't ever substitute "rich" with "prosperous", because that implies effort and earning.

Now go straighten your autographed photo of Jennine Garafolo.

I should add to what I said above, the people who hate Freedom because they are steeped in jealousy and hatred. He will willingly hand over his freedom to somebody who promises him that they will get back at the group that he hates. So Obamalama has promised you a piece of the rich people you hate. I know they all got rich by stealing from you and that its not fair that someone else has more than you or been more successful than you have been AND you believe that you deserve something from them for nothing, just because. A truly peasant attitude to have. Just like the good old Medieval ages.

In Medieval times the rich lived in gated areas & only had trusted servants inside, then the middle working manufacturing class were allowed to live within the outer walls along with the police, all the unworthy farmers & such were only allowed in to sell what was left after most was taken for tax, only allowed in to help defend if attacked in a hostile takeover attempt. Never mind things haven't changed all that much.
