Ed, as far as I know GE got out of the bulb business altogether unless they went into the new types, probably wasn't enough profit in light bulbs. Nope GE is going to make nothing but LEDs from what it sounds like, good chance that they might even make them in the US (I'll believe that when I see it) but hey that's a Corp. that not only deserves to pay no tax but to get subsidies as well, maybe if Congress increases their subsidies they will at least make the labels or boxes here.

Everything that many said about Obama before the 2008 election has proven true. His "grooming" as a community agitator, and brief stints in the state gubment and then about 20 minutes in the Senate did not prepare him for the rigors of this job. He's been a horrible failure. So if you can't run on your record, all you can do is to try and destroy the other guy. That's classic Chicago politics.
