Windows Live Mail, auto deleting my in boxes

Upgraded to Windows 7 ( new HP touchscreen) of course I now have "windows Live" mail in lieu of Outlook (which I love).

Every message I read dissapears unless I save it to a particular sub-folder ( my different vendors, clients etc). I've searched the Internets and come up empty.

Any wizards of smart on here that can tell me where the settings are to like LEAVE my damn in box alone so I can delete the ones I want when I want??

Ed, I too like my windows live--had some glitches in the beginning & called my IP co. They got me straightened out & were real helpful.

Must be a setting in there that's auto-deleting everything. I run Thunderbird, and there's a setting to delete all sent messages after a day, or delete messages after reading, I think I recall seeing .....

Got to be a way to look at the settings there ...

I figure you already did, but if not, click on help & pick a heading you think might help

Fixeded..in "new view" there is a settings menu, appears to have worked.
