Rmoney's nomination may put the GOP into third party status

Looking at all the grumbling the GOP has against Rmoney (justified or perceived), there is a divide three ways in the Republican Party.

First, they exorcised the old Rockefeller Republicans as well as the "Reagan Democrats" as being "liberal." As a result, they began to court the Religious Right and ones who live where the buses don't run. This pushes them further to the right.

Now, we look at them in 2012. We see the Republican Party fracturing into three specific movements:

Teabagger?? <removed>..sorry but it's as subtle as I can be considering the inflamatory and completely unfounded attack for somebody even trying (not very hard either) to look like they know what they're talking about.

It was almost pretty good read until you showed you have zero intellect other than what you read at the Daily Kos, NY Times, Newsweek etc.

And you, as a liberal, you show us that you know nothing of the people who regard rights granted us under the Constitutuion are (were) something to be proud of.

Next time I want to read advice on Conservatisim from Leftist, I'll check my toilet paper after a night of Mexican food.

Heck, I would have thunk that a true con would refuse to eat Mexican food, Ed if you can't take the heat (truth) then don't eat or read it. Don't you know that by eating Mexican your encouraging them to sneak in & cook it for you Gringos.

Let's see? How many groups of people have you shown absolute Hatred of? To make it easy, everbody that doesn't live in a Northeastern Crap Hole City earns your disdain. I won't even debate the ridiculous points you are trying to make. You and your ilk are traitors to the Constitution and a Free Republic, period. Your disgusting, vile term for people who actually want to preserve this Nation as founded is all I need to hear from a represenative of a bunch of stupid, uninformed Hacks. You want to see the Country burn to the ground. After its gone your Hatred of your Nation will still be unsatisfied.

xaos, you must have really hit a very tender spot, got the name calling out without any problem. Funny how when they do something towards liberals it's normally met with rebuttals & proof instead of vile names, I can just picture the drool flying & the veins popping out, you did good.

I love how conservatives (including the Tea Baggers) can dish out the insults and name calling, but when the tables are turned, they go crying "unfair, you're being mean to me".

We had names for kids like that when I was in school.

Next thing you will read is "I'm rubber and your glue. Whatever you say bounces off me and sticks to you Na,Na,NA"

Wrong, it's the Party of hyprocrisy that portrays itself as the "tolerant ones" when they do nothing but exact opposite. Now run along and re-post the topic to your friends over at MSNBC twitter feeds...silly little people.

Wow! Did that strike a nerve, or what?

Wonderful summary of the GOP in a few lines. I love it. "Rmoney". :D GOP candidates as "clown-car rejects". Come on, guys, admit it, there were only simple truths in the article, which none of you can honestly dispute. It's just the TONE of the thing that has set you off. That's why you are reduced to spluttering and name-calling. :P

There might be some "truths" in the article, but I see the D's as fractured as well.

The Clintons aren't ready to go away and Slick Willie has taken more than a couple swipes at "The Amateur" as POTUS is called.

In most polls, Barry and Willard are neck and neck with neither breaking 50% very often or by much.

This is the ultimate "lesser of two evils" election for most people who are merely voting AGAINST one candidate rather than FOR one.

Neither gets my vote. I'm not thrilled with everything Gary Johnson has to say, but at least I can vote FOR someone.

I wouldn't bet on it. But we aren't in Tampa yet.

Nebraska is tomorrow.

An we'll see how far the new Bain Capital story goes.
