Highs in the mid sixties.
Just a few leaves turning yellow now, in the low brush.
I think we had one week it didn't rain, this summer, but it was nice.

Finally getting some rain, doesn't look like an all-day soaker, but at least a half inch or so of rain.. the dog won't leave a trail of dust as he plays catch in the back yard.. I've never seen it so dry that the tennis ball creates a dust cloud when it hits the 'lawn'. and the dog stirs up a cloud when he dives or jumps for the ball.. amazing.

100* yesterday, about 68* now.

It has been miserable here with highs in the upper 90's. Last check an hour or so ago it was 86 and rising. They say T storms by afternoon, I can't wait!!! Hoping for mid seventies tomorrow and Friday. My dogs are hiding in the basement but with the boiler going it is still hot down there!!!

I came home from housepainting at 2:00PM, it was almost 99 in the shade! Had to break off, I swear it was getting hard to breathe.
Checked the weather channel and they said t-storms a comin'. I got all the tools out of the back of the pickup; then ran around and made sure the gutters were clear and took all the debris off the flat roof with a leafblower. Fixed a tear in the coal shed roof just in time for the downpour. Absolutely welcomed the rain.
I called the landlady to brag about how I just buttoned up the whole property. She didn't want to talk, said she had to shut her computer off. I told her don't worry about that! Five minutes later the power went off for about a minute.

It cooled the air down to 74!
