that is funny, I thought, and so does dictionary, that Democracy means equal say from all citizens in all matters. but republicans have shunned that idea. let a few rule. when I pledge allegiance, my hand is over my heart, not pointed up and out.

Rome was a democracy and we see how well that turned out.

You don't live in a democracy. You've never lived in a democracy.

Your ancestors might have lived in a constitutional republic but today it's more of a plutocracy at best and has been since 1913.
