Actually the city itself has an ordinance against CCW, so anyone who might have even wanted to have personal protection was legally barred from doing so.

Politicans really think they are protecting people by disarming them... yeah, not so much.

Not at all sticking up for the officials but we as voters put them there, no matter where they came from they seem to soon forget. They no longer live in the same world as most of us, some never did & most likely think everybody everywhere has protection at all times.
