Biggest day of service in history of USA. Where's the media?

Well I guess there wasn't enough negativity to report on.

The biggest day of service in history, proving that everything the left says about the right is false ... and the media is nowhere to be found.

THOUSANDS of Americans poured into TX yesterday from every corner of the planet to help out. Painting houses, feeding the hungry, repairing churches - It's the Restoring Love event, the brainchild of Glenn Beck. God bless the guy. The government would take 30 years to serve the poor & needy like this.

Say what you will, but this proves to me that Beck is the real deal. A true, brave, honorable & fearless American Patriot, just when it was needed the most.

Get ready .... America is coming back!!

I'll agree this was a noble undertaking, but to me Glen Beck is still quite conflicted. For example, in 2007 he effectively called the supporters of Ron Paul terrorists. He towed the establishment party line (Republican Party that is) in also several times saying that many of Ron Paul's ideas are crazy.

Legalize all drugs, etc.

Ron Paul has towed the party line himself many times. He's gotten earmarks for his district.

He's a good guy, he makes mistakes; ABO. IMO

I agree with Smitty about Beck, don't forget he exposed the radical communist Van Jones.

We've all got our thoughts and Glenn Beck is more in tune with things then a bunch of other people out here. Hell, we're a society that picks everything apart up to & including God--how's that working out.

And Prohibition worked so WELL the last time we tried it. I whole heartedly agree that we should continue to legislate morality with respect to drugs.

And never mind US foreign policy doesn't even resemble the constitution but by all means, maintain course, full steam ahead. I'm sure there's no icebergs out there.

If you align each of Ron Paul's totally crazy ideas with those of the Constitution and the Founders, you will find that they were all clearly insane, and thereby the founding document which they produced and which Ron Paul believes in is also madness. Tea Party and Libertarian members who place their faith in the Constitution and the Founders are also certifiably crazy. It's only the mainstream revisionist establishment Republicans and Democrats, neither of whom give a hoot for freedom or the Constitution, or for the thoughts and writings of the Founders, who are sane.

The irony to this of course is that Glen Beck generally hits the nail square on the head, but then when he is presented with a live and breathing representative of what he purportedly expounds he calls that person and his ideas insane, and that persons followers terrorists.

I just went thru this w Jpete -- that was 5 years ago .. and he was working for CNN at that time, who TOLD him what to report on. Hence the reason he jumped ship to Fox ... and then started his own network, so he could speak the truth without worrying about which "groups" approved what he had to say first. He's more Libertarian than Republican - he said it himself .... but like I say - DEEDS, not WORDS ... and his views confirm it.

But this ain't about politics - it's about WHERE THE F is the media??? Pretty clear they have an agenda, and this doesn't fit it.

I agree about the manipulated mass media. They will not touch Glen Beck with a 10 foot pole (sans to bash him). I'm glad that he has freed himself from their influence. Perhaps you are right in that he has fully reformed.

Come on SMITTY, good stuff like this don't sell a thing to the sick ass mass's. They want to see the blood & guts so they can whine about how awful everything is in the world.

Just finished watching the live stream from Dallas Cowboys Stadium. Filled to capacity!!! MAN what a moving event that was. Every American needs to see this.

So many PRICELESS artifacts from every corner of America's long history. Abraham Lincoln's desk & chair (and J.W.B.'s ORIGINAL hand written rant!), a beam from Valley Forge soaked with the blood of all the Patriots that fought there - because it was under the operating table, 2 paintings of George Washington kneeling & praying in the snow beside his horse - one of the paintings was an original "color test" of the final painting - just unbelievable stuff ... and there was a ton more.

A REAL replica of the Liberty Bell was shipped from PA .... and ... WAS RUNG SEVERAL TIMES!!!! Now if that don't send a chill down your arms, you must be dead. Just amazing.

What energy! Oh, and the musicians were unbelievable! Well worth the price of admission just to watch the "re-run" on GBTV.com .

Some of the stories told had me in tears. If you love America, you MUST watch the event.

Agreed, he and his new political party brought total destruction to States Rights, and vastly enhanced the powers of the Federal Government (an unprecedented power grab from which we have greatly suffered ever since). States are mere figureheads of what they were with respect to power and authority before Lincoln. That was the entire reason for the Civil War. It was Federal Government über alles or States retaining their vested Constitutional powers as given and as assured under the 10th Amendment. As soon as Lincoln won the election it was all over for the States, and the Southern States (being far more faithful to the Constitution) had no choice but to secede or give up virtually all of their vested State powers. The 10th Amendment was shredded and eradicated by the Republicans and Abe Lincoln. It no longer has any meaning.

Getting this back on topic, the main stream media is nowhere to be found because the big advertisers all pulled the rug out from under Glen Beck awhile ago, and he is still on their non person blacklist. The main stream media is beholden to the very same advertisers. Just connect the dots and follow the money trail.
