Coal!

I ordered 6 tons this year since I have nothing left at all from the 5 tons of nut I got last year. I get bulk delivered and they usually bring it in September. This time I ordered a mix of stove and nut because I have a new Glenwood 116 replacing the Star Herald and it's a 16" pot versus the 10" of the Herald. It will like stove sized like William and DJ's #6 since it's the same stove above the base. The cookstove like nut but will do stove also so i did the mix of 4 tons stove and 2 of nut in my bulk mix.

I too am going to try to wait till the end of Oct to fire up too but we'll see. My 116 can also burn wood with in direct mode and I have a half a cord laying around so if need be, I'll burn some of that to take the chill off in the cookstove or the Modern oak.

HaHa that blizzard caught me driving from Hartford, CT to Parsippany with a Hitzer 50 - 93.

Nothing like making new friends on the Sawmill River Parkway.
