I.E., he made all kinds of promises in coal country USA in 2008, all the suckers voted for him, and now he is actively destroying the coal industry with nothing to replace it with.

Voting for Romney never even entered my mind.

And since Romney doesn't have a job, I wouldn't expect he pays much in "income" taxes.

And I'm not saying I want him to. I just wish he had the balls to lower mine to match his.

There are only going to be two people running. A write in vote for RP is just as good as voting for Obama.

"they" don't employ me, I employ myself. and so could many others. not looking to have a master. but am not rich enough to get into the elite super rich, mostly tax exempt status. and, during the summer of an up coming election, COAL burning, is not exactly at the top of most coal burners interest right now, mid November yes. I was forced to listen to 3 hours of rush limbaugh the other day, for 2 days at a customers home. not really listening to the context, I was astonished at the anger and hatred he disperses. I doubt he even is that angry, but he is paid something like 30 million or more a year to feed this angry misinformation to his addicts that crave it. I felt sick after hearing him, small wonder this country has problem people.

I employ myself too. I provide various services to people who can afford to pay me. So I guess you just pull money out of thin air, or Obamabots pay you in food stamps.
Every customer becomes your master if you intend to provide good service.

BB, I have worked for plenty of both rich & poor & overall I'd have to say I always had less trouble getting paid & more appreciation from a poorer man that made sure he had the money for the work wanted. It seems like some of the rich (not all) would always try & get something for nothing or try & find fault where there was none & I would have to wait for my money. Might not be that way for everyone or everywhere but that's my overall experience.
I might add that the rich need us as well, without enough of a demand all the goods & supplies are worthless. The middle class runs the economy, always has & always will, as the middle keeps eroding so goes the economy.

I'm considered poor by MA standards. Also, I have a few friends that are RICH by MA standards ... which is VERY RICH compared to the U.S. average. I'll tell you this -- we are certainly both paying MORE our fair share in taxes. My buddies run 2 separate businesses - I couldn't believe how much the state takes from them!! Whoever says the rich aren't paying their fair share is getting their information HIGHLY skewed. I can get my heat, cell phone, car, rent, food, and living expenses all paid for by the state to recoup all the taxes they take from me. I choose not to. Not many poor in this state think the way I do, I'll tell ya that much.

One of my buddies pulls over a mil a year. His actual after-MULTIPLE-tax income is closer to what I was making driving a truck, only with less B/S. No wonder nobody wants to do business here.

In case you didn't know, MA government is DOMINATED by democrats. Always has been.

With the amount of money this state pulls down in taxes, we should have roads paved in titanium. Quite the contrary. My father & I went fishing down the cape yesterday, and all we saw were trash-strewn streets, highways, off/on-ramps, & bathroomless rest areas. Narrow toll booths approaching 50 years old that look like hell. Huge chunks of pavement missing from the MIDDLE of the highway!! It's ridiculous!! Instead of PAVING the damn road, they have a crew on the side of the highway cutting trees down ....... not to sell for lumber to pay down the billions in debt, mind you .... but to grind into sawdust which is then blown onto the ground where they once grew, serving no purpose whatsoever .... except to earn a fat paycheck - at taxpayers expense - for the big boys in state governments' buddies ... or relatives.
