An incident like this is bad for everybody.

I'll buy the bullets too, much less expensive than feeding him for life afterwards and the rehabilitation he'll get to endure.

prescription psychotic medication may not be their choice, but definitely called for.

In the 1950's, God was a large part of the MAJORITY of American life. An 8 year old child could order a .22 rifle by mail, & have it shipped to his house. Then that same 8 year old could toss it over his shoulder AND WALK DOWN THE MAIN STREET IN TOWN and nobody would bat an eyelash. Back then, not one person would EVER think of mowing down people just for a body count. The majority of people had morals. The fear of God's judgement was enough of a deterrent. Every single year since those days, religion & God have been slowly chipped away at, and now you have Columbine, Fort Hood, Aurora, and now this latest one.
When there's no God to answer to, what do you have to lose by either cheating your fellow man out of his life savings, or mowing him down in cold blood for no other reason besides sport?
I'm not a church going guy - I'm damaged goods - I was born & raised in the Godless Northeast, remember -- but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see the parallels of the removal of religion from the mainstream, & the subsequent drop in morals from our populace.
So like I said - you don't want God in society? Then you reap what you sow. Get used to it.
