Nothing better than old iron. 8-) I like the aqua colored iron in the background too.

I was reminded of that today as I removed a 26 year old radiator from our Grand Marquis, and installed one from Advance Auto ... made in red china out of a material that seemed to be not quite as strong as lead ... :|

Looks like it's going to be one hell of a range there. Sweet. 8-)

Dozer is a D-6 serial number group 9U, late fifties.
Grader is actually Yellow but I think the military painted it Olive Drab for the war.
This is the 300 yard section of the range, they also built a 100 Yard and a trapshoot area between them.
I see the color you mentioned Smitty, Model A Ford I belive

Way to go, I think I see a pony motor there --- sweet. Only way to go in the depths of winter. Start the pony motor up and go for coffee. When you come back the engine is nice and warm and yank on the clutch handle and the main engine never fails to start - forget batteries. Well my D8 (cable blade - hard work!) did fail to start as the clutch plate wore out and then as it was a manual transmission so I bump started it in 5th gear with a 25 ton loader. Loved that thing.

Nice - beautiful car.

Man! 300 yards - the local range here has a 200 yd section ... and I think it's one of the only ones in the state with that "long" of a distance. Not much space here in MA ...

What's with the dozer? Shouldn't you be pulling that thing with a team of horses?
