double loaded the damn thing. I mean powder sabot powder sabot :mad: Any thoughts on how the best way to puller out?

I can't remember where I saw it,but there is a puller for your such predictament :blowup:
If you have a gunsmith in your area,they maybe able to help you

They make a puller, which looks like a small corkscrew to pull it out. Wet the powder if possible first.

Yes it's called a ball puller. Little corkscrew. Not the little lady :)

They make a air powered device that blows compressed air into the hole where the spark goes in. Friend of mine has one. He doesn't like to clean his gun. If he ends up not shooting it during the season, that is what he does. How come you don't take it to a gunsmith? Probly have it out in 5 minutes.

I could taker out to a gunshop I suppose, would like to be able to do it myself. I thought about unscrewin the bunghole and using compressed air.

Yeah that's what I'd do - compressed air ........ or some flint and a loooooong string for the trigger if you want to get it out REAL fast. :D

Smitty, that's what killed a lot of men on both sides in the Civil War, in the heat of the battle & getting up & moving & such they would sometimes double load & those barrels were never built for that. Even if it's a new one I would never try that.

Bwaaahhaha funny you say this... first thought, long string, a tree and another to stand behind. But its the only flintlock I got so I don't wanna buy another.
