That's expensive under any circumstances. You can get bagged coal for that much.
Hudson used to charge $2 a 40 gallon bucket until the Bureau of Weights and Measures decided they needed to protect the consumer forcing them to stop. That's going back 10 years or more. Probably be around $3.50 now.
