I live in Bushkill, 18324. You just need to dump it on the ground.

$125/ton for twelve tons

That sounds like a good deal.

Do you deliver out of state? I buy TL quantities of buck delivered to Dalton, MA (01226), preferably in a triaxle.

Thanks.

I'm interested in delivery of 15 tons of rice (coal) to zip 18346 to mu outdoor coal bin. What's the delivered price,
and how soon you could do it. This sounds like a great deal.

How much is in a triaxle? (nevermind I see you posted 22/24 tons) ( I'm now thinking about 10 ton's) And then what would it cost to get to 18360? You would just have to dump it on the ground.

Thanks

Went down to see John this morning (after i got lost for 1/2 hour on rt 11). He gave me a ride through the quarry and mine pit. Nice set-up they have going and equipment and trucks buzzing around like worker bees. He said he has a bunch of emails to answer so please be patient. The place is actually past the town of Glen Lyon, up the rode maybe a few miles. He is going to post some pictures soon. Call or email and he will answer your questions. They are busy. I took some pictures of the sample pea coal we scooped out of a pile, it is maybe a bit bigger than what is in my bin but i actually like the pea to be sized on the high side and not too consistent. The AA130 will digest it no problem. This looks good, mostly glossy shiny black, some iron traces but not a lot maybe 1 out of 20 pieces. I only saw 1 piece of wood in the entire pile. As to how it burns, i honestly can't say yet. My auger is under 4-5 ft of coal as my bin was just filled with 6 ton 2 weeks ago. Pictures of the pea coal are below, enjoy.

Just got off the tele with John and he did say his pea was a touch on the larger side, like a "pea/nut". Just ordered up 4 ton, deliver'n er up monday. If she fits the bill this heating season then maybe a triaxle load to this fella's homestead with the price.

That is how I'm thinking. Let us know what you think. Do you think you would try burning some as a test run?

Little on the large side but i don't think the AA will have any problems. The machine was right there and had the screen sizes marked on it (in metric). This is sized right on site so slightly different sized from getting it from Hudson breaker where i usually get it. Getting 10 ton dumped in the yard, i should be good for 2 years.

I bet your AA will really "breath" with that coal.

Agreed, and you may find that it burns more coal (and/or trips the dump zone more often) as a result.

I have burned rice, buckwheat, pea and oversized pea in the AA 130. No problems, only problem is with wet rice coal, clogs the auger and i have the agitator too. Feeding from a bin it is hard to say how much you actually use. Whats a dump zone? Steam heat here. No moving parts. I have had some brands of coal make steam on just the timer while most won't. Often the house is 10 degrees warmer than whatever it is outside during the summer. 70 outside now, 78 inside with front and back doors open. Keeps the basement dry when the water table is high.
Took a few more pictures. First is a sample from my bin on the left and the Glen Lyon on the right. Next is bin spread out, you can see the smaller pieces. Next is Glen Lyon spread out, no smaller pieces. It will be fine with a AA sized auger.
