The question was who do you dislike least. The assumption that they will behave identically is not valid.

Watch the video. Look at their records. What else could I base my opinion on other than their words and deeds?

Do you have some sort of ability to divine their future actions? Second cousin with the Oracle at Delphi perhaps?

I see a pragmatic business man who will approach government in the same way as much as politics allows. Though I agree with much of what you believe, I don't think a meat cleaver approach would be possible.

They always say legislation is like making sausage. Even the best sausage
has bits of balls and *censored* in it, but you eat it anyway. At least Ryan has
a past and isn't dumb as a bag of hammers. Vote for the man not the sausage.

The man that proposed a deficit spending package for a decade?

The man that voted for TARP?

The man that votes to increase spending?

What exactly am I voting for again?

http://www.cato.org/publications/commen ... et-visions

Neither President Obama nor Paul Ryan actually cuts government spending. Rather, both are playing the time-honored game of calling a reduction in the rate of increase a “cut.” Thus, the president would increase federal spending from $3.8 trillion in 2013 to $5.82 trillion in 2022. That might not be as big an increase there might otherwise be, but in no way can it be called a cut. Meanwhile, Ryan, who is being accused of “thinly veiled Social Darwinism,” would actually increase spending from $3.53 trillion in 2013 to $4.88 trillion in 2022.

I don't know how many other ways to say this.

Romney/Ryan are not the droids you're looking for....

You will notice that it is a good deal less than double in ten years. Even that will take something close to revolution to accomplish. With Obama we get a double in six months. With the inflation that will have gone on in ten years it will amount to a massive cut.

And if you don't cut it out and crack that book on heating and ventilation I will tell your mother.

I prefer the Paul Ryan choice over the other candidates such as Christie, Pawlenty, Rubio, Jindal, Portman and Jeb Bush. All of these candidates lack the life experiences I think are required to be President or Vice President. They are too young, have a short and opaque resume, and just don't have that "substantial" feel that a solid candidate should have. None of these men have the life or work experience that most former presidents have had. For example, Obama was nobody really until he was elected Senator in 2004 and served for two years before he started campaigning for 2008. Just read the life story of Nixon, or George H.W Bush, or Biden and Gerald Ford. These men, whether you liked them or not, had resumes a mile long and held significant and important positions prior to being elected. The minimum age for president or vice president should be raised from 35 to 55 years of age.

Where have all the wise old men gone?

Sounds like a hell of a plan. Default on your obligations by destroying the currency.

Tell me again how you're trying to "save" the economy?

Does the phrase "Wiemar Republic" mean anything to you?

Hey Fred,

Because of your replies, I'm gonna keep my mouth shut myself for once :D

Except to say that was a good speech by Ryan this morning. Difference between Al-Maobamarx and Romney/Ryan is night and day.

Vote republican unless you want more welfare state.

Like it or not that is what is going on and will continue. Default by inflation is the method selected to erase the debt. Just because it has never worked in the history of the world is no reason to be pessimistic. We can stop whenever we want. Just like they did in Wiemar.
