When I was a kid, I thought racism was funny, when I grew up to be a man, and developed a civil thinking brain, not so funny anymore.

Dann, does that same logic make you rich since you live in one of the richest counties in the country? IMO it's more or less natural for humans to be somewhat racist, it's constantly rammed down our throats & we as people don't help it much. Personally I think the minorities are more racists than the non, they may have reason for being so in their minds but some things take an awful long time to go away & even more so if it's to someones advantage to keep racism alive & well along with other forms of discrimination as well. I also think it's healthy to talk about it rather than our so called leaders approach on both sides by historically throwing some money at not well thought out policies & once again kicking the can down the road.

Sam the reason why there's so many minority racists is because the left perpetuates & encourages it. Look no further than Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, et.al.

At some point America needs to put all this behind her ... instead of picking old wounds over, and over, and over, and OVER again.

Most of us want to move forward, but how can we when the left cries "RACISM!!!" every single time something is said or done that they are either threatened by or don't agree with. It also furthers their agenda of keeping them on welfare ... and consequently, checking the box with the "D" next to the name on election day. It's why black conservatives are demonized and defamed at every turn, with a fury not seen in history. It throws their whole plan out the window.

Funny how the left blames it all on Republicans, when it's the LEFT that keeps them down with handouts.

Smitty, I could say that those loud mouths you mentioned may at times have good reason because of the rights policies but that wouldn't be the whole story. Lets face it we live in a Good Ole Boy society that is a White one but also a cowardly one as well, they are afraid of riots & mayhem, neither side wants to be considered racist, it makes for bad press. Odd how a Dem. was the last to do any meaningful welfare reform but since the start both sides could have made changes but neither did. I said on previous subjects that now it's something that needs to be gradually reduced, it isn't a left or right problem it's everybody's problem. So the con answer is to try & make it harder for those "D" to vote along with the elderly & others, that tends to have a bit of an "R" to it, the same as having robocalls falsely saying polling places have changed. It's a dirty cheating corrupt system & we all are guilty of preserving it, maybe it's a short attention span & we forget what someone did the year before. The cons had 8 years before "O" & did nothing but now you blame it all on the Dem.s.
