Looks fantastic--looks like you put a radiant zone in the outbuilding? I like your underground line solution but I couldn't get the pvc/insulated pex and foam price numbers to work for me so I went with 1 1/4 thermopex. the foam guys around my area are pirates.

Finally some pictures. the coal bin not buit yet, loading door is behind blue barrel. Need to get it insulated and adjusted.
Hope the baro location is ok, the old 6 inch I used on my last stove said not to install in the top of the pipe, the 8 inch instructions say its OK.

That Gentleman Janitor stoker looks right at home under that EFM. Any fire yet??

You will need a draft gauge to get that baro set properly.

When you adjust the fuel/air you want to make sure that you can maintain a nice bed of incandescent fuel on top of the retort without dumping too much coke while under extended load. You want the minimum amount of air necessary to both not smoke under fire and prevent excessive fuel/coke loss off the retort. Getting the air/fuel right is tricky in an underfeed stoker with a hearth; It will be even more difficult on an underfeed stoker with a shallow retort suspended in the firebox such as the one you have, but once you get it right, you don't need (or want to) mess with it even under low load conditions.

(I made a video, but I can't upload it sucessfully.)

Wish I could afford more, but he brought 14 more tons than I was expecting, there went my beer money for a while! OOPS! I forgot, I bought that in bulk too, brought back 50 cases of Yuengling when I picked up the stoker. Still have a little left! :D

I like your auger idea, but the boiler house is 1/2 a mile away, maybe a project for next year.
