Politics and Science

PostBy: franco b On: Tue Aug 21, 2012 3:20 pm

Recently I reported on a young scientist (masters degree in Sports Psychology) demonstrating the outrageousness of Bikini bathing suits.

Well she has done it again, this time a real breakthrough in something that has puzzled men for a long time. Why do young ladies fart silently? It seems the wearing of a thong bifurcates the anal opening preventing flutter resulting in the emission of a gentle zephyr instead of rude noise.

Right away I grasped the sexual and political implications and dashed off a report to one of the Psychology journals. You can read it under the title "Relational Dissonance and the Thong" I am not too good at the lingo they use in these reports which is popularly known as "bullshit" but i did my best.

As for the political implications the Liberals are sure to deem it unfair and try to deprive us once more of individual freedom and ban the Thong. This is just a heads up warning.

The original report can be found here..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CtuJAs7h ... e=g-user-u

The damn Liberals are into everything people do. Probably from all that cocaine they snort and from holding their breath to avoid inhaling marijuana.

That sounds really good Sam and that's the trouble, I might like it too much. I have never touched or even been offered an illegal drug. The habit of pipe smoking is enough. This is not from strength of character but rather from weakness that i am afraid of it. As for alcohol maybe 3 or 4 drinks a year at a social gathering. Thank God I don't have that craving.

I'm from a different generation and at a vulnerable age drugs were just not there. I did have a friend who smoked marijuana to ease the constant pain from paralyzed legs. He quit when a more effective legal drug became available. He died about 4 months later.

I think some people get their "High" by bashing other people. I rarely read any opinion on here without the Liberal bashing. None of you, are in any position to belittle anyone, let alone much better people than yourselves. Franco's article is interesting and funny though.

I think you will find that the preponderance of forum members are conservative because that belief better suites a group that has shown initiative in selecting a heating system outside of the popular. A symptom of independent thinking and resourcefulness. They want to be and are individuals, not members of a collective.

You too have shown that initiative and why you believe in the collective is a mystery to me. We don't have collective rights , we have individual rights and we do believe that the talents of the individual can only flourish with a minimum of restraint from government.

There are a lot of smart people who believe as you do. I think you should learn more about what you believe other than just repeating campaign slogans and tarring a group who make up at least half the population with the sins of a few ultra rich.

I just didn't want the thread to deteriorate into a political discussion of REPUBLICAN Representative Todd Akin, who is on the SCIENCE COMMITTEE of the House, and thinks SCIENTIFICALLY that a UTERUS can reject sperm from a rapist while accepting it from a wanted source. I felt we should get back to pure science before SOME IRRESPONSIBLE PERSON tried to hijack the thread. Allah protect us! ;)

What a diabolical mind you have to inject a political subject in the name of not wanting to do that.

At least it shows that Democrats are willing to share something with Republicans, idiocy, instead of hogging it all to themselves. It's a start.

I wonder where he got that bit of science. I suspect maybe there was some laboratory study somewhere where rats or something actually did that. Then with a leap of imagination he extrapolated it to humans. Kind of like all the cures for cancer that work great on mice but not on humans.

You can be sure that when I write on scientific subjects I use the strictest methodology and site my sources as i did here in this report.

Your spiritually duly noted but you are going to piss off Dann.

Very funny. I saw 9/11 with my own eyes. You guys think you don't have any enemies. If you have an inkling of conscience; give what you can to a military charity such as http://www.Fisherhouse.org , instead of posting pseudo soft porn from Utube.

Very good organization, you have to be very careful with where you donate but this one is totally legit. They are finally getting one in Pittsburgh due to be ready sometime soon from what I heard, a friend of mine is installing the kitchen for it.
