Gun value can be real tricky. Lots of variables on older guns can make big differences in value. You could take it to a gun show and get a bunch of prices from the dealers there and sort of average them out or if you know a knowledgeable gunsmith or gun shop owner ask for an appraisal, not an offer but an honest appraisal. If you do go the gun show route understand that many of the guys will probably give you a lowball price because they may want to buy it so they are looking to turn around and make a buck on it.
