Fine steel wool and get paint to match stove... Several years back had a Harman II and repainted because of surface rust.. Stove look great and paint lasted.

Your dog should be glad he doesn't live with Freetown Fred "--Did I trip over one of the dogs & almost drop my ash pan?? only ONCE--shot the dog & now I'm good--come on guys, that was Freetown humor " , Pee on the stove certain death sentance! Ok, we are kidding here :P

A threatening look while shouting and holding a rolled up newspaper should do.... OH! You mean the rust, not the dog! ') Yaaa.... I'd go with the WD & steel wool.

I'd be more concerned who is influencing your dog's anti coal philosophy.

Must be an Alaska or Harman Dog. You need to get him some proper training. LOL

Steel wool like mentioned and maybe some baking soda water mix?
