And we've got beetles!

ANother side effect of NOT buying American made products. These bastards were imported by Saint-Gobain Co. - formerly known as Norton Co. in Worcester, through their shipping crates from asia that they left stacked outdoors in the summer. Eggs hatched, and the little f'ers branched out and took over the entire city. The state decided the best course of action was to cut down nearly every single hard wood tree in the city.

If I see one of these things, I'm keeping it to myself. Don't need the government coming in and leveling our forest here.

I hear that Bob! Instead of putting my nose to the grindstone & getting that Focus finished, I blew off 100 rounds with a buddy of mine in the backyard. Not very productive, but we put LOTS of holes in paper & metal! toothy :rambo2:

Spider & hickory nut season at the compound! :D

In this crappy quality video brought to you by Verizon, you can hear the hickory nuts crashing down one after the other, as a red squirrel knocks them down for himself ... and we steal them. My favorite nut in the world .. and they're free. Got a bumper crop of 'em this year. After this video was shot, I ended up with close to 10 lbs of them! Still got to dry them out & peel them, then get crackin'. Lots of work, but well worth it.

Smitty, when I was a kid there was a real small farm left in town & the guy used to give us a quarter for every big spider we brought him.
On a side note I'll try & get a picture of my friends bike & see if you could fix it. We had our worst nightmare for our area & my neighbors barn caught fire yesterday & the bike was right there. At least there were no lives lost & only one firefighter got slightly injured & we got the horses out with only minor burns to one so all in all it could have been worse.

Well that sucks .. but like you said at least nobody got hurt. Can always be worse ....

Everything is fixable ... just depends on how deep the pockets are. :D
