Isn't the reason we our doing all this space exploration--Mars & the like--to find a suitable atmospherte for possible habitation--probably friggin NOT--but some of the "BRAINIACS" have mentioned it would be a nice neighborly thing to dump some of our unwanted stuff there-----the hell I say???

We were extremely lucky with 3 Mile Island, Waltz Mills & that one that shut down in Virginia (I believe) when we had an earthquake a year or two ago. We still have no where to store waste, after billions spent for Yucca Mountain it's still all on site at the reactors. Everything gets old & shows age, once hot there isn't much that can be done to upgrade parts of facilities, even with Germany shutting down there reactors they will still have the waste & just the opposite of fossil fuels which will run out the nukes will keep increasing so they have to use some of everything & searching for alternatives.
