There is nothing to compete with that look, those wide boards with natures work showing thru every inch. Modern "hardwood" flooring looks sick beside that. Maybe my interest in those old wide boards tells a bit about my age & what I lived in during my earlier yrs.
W&C,thanks for the update on that fantastic project.

Thanks.
My desk and other junk is going in there, so the other, larger room will be available when my grandkids come to visit! My bedroom is next.
No coal stove in that room, the Harman is one flight down.

I am about to rip out a beautiful hand made bar to make a play room for the kids, I might feel better about it if I knew John was going through a second round of diapers and cribs.

I rent my sorta triplets out...
for birth control or to make a parent with just one
Realize how easy they have it...
People are always amazed at the "triplets"
Once ya get to three it is easier...
Having a 2.5 year old here for a sleep over...
giving the single mom a night off...
Having four here makes it easier...
Now all I need is the big farm house and a few acres...
At least we upgraded to four bedrooms...
Need to rip all the wall to wall carpet out...
4 year old and carpet do not mix well...
Strip oak here we come....
