I've been slowly moving stuff into the renovated room, my desk and other items from the 2nd bedroom. Then I will move the Select Comfort into the 2nd so I can finally paint the largest bedroom. Everything is a huge project around here.

Exactly. I got this one for free a long time ago. it has the spring-loaded typewriter table on the left. If you try and lift the table without weight on it you're in for a surprise and might loose a finger. I'd rather have the filing option, I could use that more.

The typewriter table has this on it:

I found the "typewriter database" the other day, looked it up. It was manufactured in 1934. Not worth very much since so many were made and still exist. Maybe $100 tops. Another freebie I got a while ago.

hey guys. enjoyed reading your stories, though I've never owned an old house in my life. but I'd love to. I've seen some fascinating almost ancient buildings in Munich and after that fell in love with architecture in general. I love the idea of buying and renovating a house of my own, maybe make it in the same style as in Germany. will keep your ideas in mind, just wanted to say thank you for this thread :)

Looks like an awful lot of stairs in that one.
