I knew fixated Sam would pipe in. I did not want a tour guide I wanted a president that would keep the place running. So Sam, as you buy into the journey nonsense (gosh) where are the milestones between here and 2016? This I gotta hear.

Maybe you all don't know but myself & many others have been thru a preview of this exact thing (on a smaller scale) in the rust belt. Many gave up looking, & weren't counted, others moved to greener pastures leaving amoung other things family & friends along with their support behind. The biggest difference is that there were many places to go but still a hard thing to do, I tried both, must have had a hundred temp. jobs, was working for two different temp.agencies (both of which took full advantage of the abundance of good hard workers) but I kept the wolf away from the door & food on the table. Back then the Pres. even started (for the first time) listing those in the service as employed to get his #s up, all smoke & mirrors. Easy to criticize when you hopefully have never & never will walked a mile in their shoes. Also easy to forget or ignore who & what got us into this, it won't be much longer & we will find out & honest to God I hope I'm wrong but like Clinton said you do the arithmetic.

No. We're already in hell.

We fall somewhere between Ring 8 Fraud and Ring 9 Treachery. Dante's Inferno lists those in Ring 8 as:

Frauds, Panderers and Seducers, Flatterers, Simonists, Drinkers, Astrologers, Magicians, Barrators, Hypocrites, Thieves, Fraudulent Counselors, Sowers of Scandal & schism, Falsifiers of metal (money).

Ring 8 pretty much sums up our government.

We're pretty much at the bottom of the barrel. One more Ring and that's it. If Obama gets another four years we'll be burned for an eternity by Lucifer himself.

Make no mistake, Romney's no better. Maybe we climb a level or two in Hell, trying to clamor our way back up. We won't make it out of Hell, but maybe we'll get far enough away from the bottom to make some headway and fix some of this *censored*.
