Krugman Credits Obama with Teacher Cuts

In the following video Krugman tries to make the argument that government has shrunk under Obama. He's partly right but for the wrong reason. The federal government has not shrunk and the amount of federal employees is being offset by the expansion of private contractors, that's not the story here. The premise for his argument is based on ALL government employees including state and local government.

Effectively he's crediting Obama with the state and local cuts resulting among many things the layoff of teachers. While I support these cuts here in PA brought on by deficits the spin on this is amazing.
