Loose Leash Walking

Loose Leash Walking

We have been working with Thor and it's going very well. We are able to walk him at the "heel" position with the leash staying loose. He is really a joy to work with although he does have his moments...................mostly with Mrs. Beetle. He is becoming a very well trained and respected member of our family. If only this had worked on the kids. I plan on off leash training and recall very soon. His distractions are becoming minimal and he tends to focus more on us. :)

Sounds outstanding SB :) My 5 mo. old yellow lab/ weimerauner is an idiot--loveable but an idiot LOL She will come if she's in the mood & at dinner time--no leash training, I'm afraid she'd hang herself. She does love chasing the horses & the horses go with it till they decide to chase her--she is quick except for an occasional tumble over them big feet. Horses always give her a chance to get back up & then it's off to the races again. I'm beginning to think we are looking for different outcomes with our training regiments ;) Did I mention that I no longer have any place to sit in the living room?? toothy
