What's next, you dare ask? SHARIA compliant banks!

What's next, you dare ask? SHARIA compliant banks!

PostBy: SMITTY On: Mon Sep 17, 2012 11:24 pm

I see 2 credit cards I need to dump tomorrow. Luckily for me, my bank is too small to be on that list .. otherwise I'd dump them too.

Complying with sharia is an act of treason in my eyes. :rambo2:

See if you can find your bank: http://www.shariahfinancewatch.org/blog ... titutions/

I dumped all my cards 2 years ago and I don't see any reason to go back. :)

Good move. I wish I could, but then I'd have to drive everywhere to buy parts and whatever else I need. That wouldn't be good for my mental health .. at least as long as I live in this state.

Guess I'll keep my Cabela's Visa & dump the rest.

fyi to all that do not really know what SHARIA investing is .........

Investopedia explains 'Sharia'
Sharia-compliant finance is an area of modern finance that is growing among many banks and investment houses. This is due in part to investors eager to work with the Middle East as oil prices continue to increase. Western financial services firms are beginning to offer Shariah-compliant investment vehicles that neither pay interest, nor benefit from gambling.

In late 2007, a Sharia index was launched on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. This index includes companies that comply with Sharia law. The companies included in this index are screened on a daily basis, and exclude non Sharia-compliant companies such as casinos, and alcohol and tobacco companies.

In the West, Sharia-compliant investments are similar to socially responsible investments.

Would seem like "donating" to Islamic charities that promote terrorism would and should be a treasonable offense. Off with all of the CEO's heads I say, and anybody else greedy enough to participate.

Of course Bank of America would be on that list. *censored*.

Good thing I have no credit cards. Haven't had any for 9 years. My wife dumped the two she had 2 years ago. If we can't pay cash for it, we don't need it.

All this is, is that the banks have figured out a way to screw the Muslims too by a make believe compliance with sharia. No different than the make believe compliance with our own banking regulations. Too much money involved for the banks to ignore.
