Waiting on some parts and some more simple testing. If you are not to worried about cosmetics I can probably get you a convection fan next week. Should be in a few weeks for final product. Are you ready to try one out. Give me a call Monday morning if possible. Thanks, Davebaddawg wrote:Just wondering if you guys at LL have a update to when the quiet stove package may be available to purchase?

UPDATE:
The quiet stove package consists of the following: AO Smith #12 combustion fan 1500rpm speed (mounted using a flange assembly and RTV hose), an extra large quiet gear motor made in England, and a metal enclosure to contain the components and mount the Coal-Trol. We have the fans and flanges, the gear motors are on order and should be in sometime around mid October, and the enclosure has been prototyped and is in final stages of production development projected to also be completed around mid October.
Completed units should be ready for shipment in three weeks to a month, early release of just the quieter combustion fan can be shipped next week.

We are able to ship the quiet combustion blowers. The Pioneer Bottom vent either needs the feed motor cover removed , modified or replaced with one already modified so the blower can be tilted. We also added a shutter to the inlet so you can adjust the over fire pressure as needed. I open it up fully when lighting and close it 1/2 way to 3/4 when running and leveled out. My pioneer idles most of the time because I also have the boiler so it is mostly just a radiator and Ginnie pig for testing.

The stock ones should be quiet . If it is noisy check to make sure coal isnt stuck in the blades somewhere. If not time for a new one.blrman07 wrote:Do you have a "quiet" Convection blower for an older model Econo 1? The blower sits in the hopper.
