Dann, not looking for support just letting facts out there, you have let your opinion known that it's OK for a Co. to dock a persons pay & have to attend a mandatory event that they are free to not attend,(figure that one out). Then any form of info that doesn't agree with what you want becomes a liberal rag, look it up there are many others & even utube. Meanwhile an openly conservative & financed site owned by want to be Emperor is a viable source of info. :?

If this actually happened, the miners have a piss poor union and a dumbass owner.
If this actually happened, no one would have attended the rally.
I think your confusing Romney with Obow.

TSB, look it up for yourself, it happened & I believe it's either non-union or a combination. It isn't only the coal mines similar things happened in the steel mills with the exception of them shutting down, why a mine would have to shut down for security reasons as was stated I wouldn't even begin to guess since the rally was well outside the mine. Could just be the Co. flexing their muscles & showing a preview of things to come if they didn't attend. From what I heard it is going to go to the courts.

Propaganda article from the well known liberal biased LA Times.

Everybody here knows you hate the rich, hate the successful, hate corporations.

This company employs 3000 workers, I guess that's against your ideology too.

http://www.murrayenergy.net/

I worked in a factory once, and they had a "mandatory event". It was an anniversary re-enactment of the first blind instrument flight in history. There was a grass runway at this avionics factory. They flew in in a dual cockpit biplane and the front cockpit was covered over in canvas. The pilot in front landed on instruments.
The revered Jimmy Doolittle was a guest of honor. He was an old man by then; that "mandatory event" was a remarkable day for everybody.

I'm sure it was a similar day for those miners, who have a lot more distress over Obama's anti -fossil fuel, anti-American, totally botched administration. Romney, with a career of business acumen and success behind him; must be the poster boy for liberal bitter envy, a target for their misdirected and internalized grudge against prosperity and The American Dream.

Hey it might have been similar to Obama's speech at SOLYNDRA; before Obama BLEW $500,000,000.00 of TAXPAYER MONEY on an opulent facility when there are vacant warehouses everywhere.

Speaking of L.A., it's a great example of liberal policy, overrun with illegals and their drug gangs; bankrupt from bloated overpaid municipal overspending, infiltrated by the radical militant La Raza, and rapidly looking like the corrupt poverty culture of Mexico.

Best wishes with your little campaign against the American Candidate. You are in the company of the OWS'ers, the commie liberal RICH Hollywood crowd, CPUSA, CAIR, "the welfare scum", illegals that demand instant amnesty, and all the rest that are destroying our country.

THE ROMNEY AGENDA:

Empower states to control onshore energy development;

Open offshore areas for energy development;

Pursue a North American Energy Partnership;

Ensure accurate assessment of energy resources;

Restore transparency and fairness to permitting and regulation; and

Facilitate private-sector-led development of new energy technologies.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“An affordable, reliable supply of energy is crucial to America’s economic future.
I have a vision for an America that is an energy superpower, rapidly increasing our own production and partnering with our allies Canada and Mexico to achieve energy independence on this continent. If I am elected president, that vision will become a
reality by the end of my second term.”
-Mitt Romney
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“We have an unprecedented opportunity to make our natural resources a long -term source of competitive advantage for our nation. If we develop these resources to the fullest, we will not only guarantee ourselves an affordable and reliable supply of energy, but also enjoy benefits throughout our economy. Our trade deficit will shrink,our dollar will strengthen, and tens of billions of dollars will flow to the treasury.Perhaps most importantly, we will experience a manufacturing resurgence that delivers more jobs and more take-home pay for middle-class families across
the country.”
-Mitt Romney

Dann, simple questions, is it true or not that it was a mandatory unpaid rally or not? Just because it is owned by a giant Corp. is it then OK? If it were a small independent mine would it make any difference? Does something like this bring happiness to your heart because these workers in fear of losing their jobs justify the Co.s right to do this after all that's the way it used to be in the good old days? You sound like as long as it's big money anything is alright, I hope I'm wrong on that but it's the impression you leave.
I did probably several hundred hours of work for a community improvement project every summer that U.S. Steel did & got paid for every minute of it & at times even got a free meal. Around election time we were always made aware of how the Co. would like us to vote & even told a few times that if we wanted to keep working it would be in our best interest to do so but it never went past that, any mandatory meeting of any kind was always paid.

I was just trying to recall wasn't that the same mine owner from that W.V. mine that had the men trapped for all those days? I thought that he wasn't allowed to do mining anymore in the settlement.

Is it true that it doesn't matter to you, that whatever I respond with won't de=program you?

I don't care if it was "mandatory" in some twisted liberal propaganda sense of the word. This is just another extreme bias attack on Romney.

Don't even bother to find the transcript of his speech there, to even know what he said.

Here's a link that shows a little more local take on the event. At a place that has been economically damaged by Obama administration policies and the EPA.

http://www.toledoblade.com/Politics/201 ... peech.html

Arguing with liberals can only be considered a sport. Americans love to argue. We have the time and the prosperity and standard of living. We still have it good here; but Obama wants to put an end to that.
His only goal is to redistribute wealth, over regulate the energy industry in order to force extreme high prices on fossil fuel. He has his back to America.
Anybody would recognize any successes in the green energy arena. He has almost nothing, FAIL.

His failed policies are the reason you place your own attack ad; you have nothing positive to say about his reign.

THE ROMNEY AGENDA:
Empower states to control onshore energy development;
In other words, empower the polluters, because states can't hold out as well against the giant corporations.

Open offshore areas for energy development;
Offshore wind and tidal power projects are well underway... Oh, did you mean OIL? See above.

Pursue a North American Energy Partnership;
Sounds good. Or do you mean pipe Canadian oil to the Gulf of Mexico so it can be exported instead of used domestically?

Ensure accurate assessment of energy resources;
OK. Sounds good. But what is that a code phrase for? Decimating the Alaskan Wildlife Refuge? Drilling in the Grand Canyon? What?

Restore transparency and fairness to permitting and regulation; and
More empower-the-polluters, or did you have something else in mind?

Facilitate private-sector-led development of new energy technologies.
No No No! Be careful! President Obama tried that, slipped up with one company, and we'll never hear the last of it!

Hey Bob, I was wondering where you been. I see you have a lot of free time tonight to be totally negative too.
You attacked Romney's plan because you can't quote Obama's plan, because he has none. See if you can get more absolutist in your comments. Nice composition though. Take your pick, the makers or the takers.

Oh yeah, thanks, that just helped me turn against all mining everywhere. Let's heat our homes by rubbing tye-dye shirts together and having vigorous drum circles.
Better yet, let's tax those dirty rich that got all their money by magic spells and victimizing people with choices. Drive them out of existance! Power to the people! Workers of the world unite! Nobody deserves to succeed! It isn't fair. Let's make everybody perfectly equal under the absolute control of centralized government. Sounds like..........COMMUNISM
